i am looking for my fathers family "strait" i have found little about them my grandfather lewis miles strait was a child of mildred wood and curtis miles strait .. curtis miles strait was the son of john strait and carrie p brown... the straits where from vetran, ny in chemung county it was told that curtis was married to 2 woman at the same time and served time in ny for this and i found a census record that had a amy as his wife they were said to have had a daughter threw this marriage although i have seen no paper trail for this.. if anyone knows anything about this family or how to find info on this family please contact me...
