Seeking data on any Beemer families of Henry Co., Iowa, or related families elsewhere. Some members from Canada, also resided IN., OH., Muscatine Co.,IA; Fremont, Dodge Co., NE. One of which was William "Gene" BEEMER, b. 8 June 1872, Mount Pleasant,IA., d. 17 Jul 1949, Fremont, Dodge Co., NE, buried Ridge Cem.; m. 4 Jul 1902, Seward, Seward Co., NE to Jessie May Finlyson. He may have orginally been a DOUGLAS. It is believed he had a sister, Minnie DOUGLAS, who is shown as a stepdau. of George Washington BEEMER and wife, Sarah Elizabeth (STOUT?). George W. BEEMER, b. 22 Feb 1852, IN., d. 29 Mar 1930, Fremont, Dodge Co., NE. Known children: 1. dau. who m. Joe RHEA; 2. Bertha, m. (1) 1892, George TURNER; n. (2) Mr. WISPELL; 3. dau., m. J. C. SANBO; 4. James B., m. 1905, Nellie RHEA; 5. Charles; 6. Rose M. (1887-1962), m. Arthur THOMAS; These Beemer's said to be related to my line of Lyons, Burt Co., Nebraska. How? Dorothy K. Alvis
