Armitage, Ben. Ben was born at Hinchliffe Mill Austonley, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire in 1846. He was 'wool carding overlooker' and moved to Bradford in 1870. He "went to America" in the 1880s. If he is part of your tree, please let me know. Thanks, Jack Armitage.
