I am researching my family and have reached a dead end at James CHESNEY, b. 1796 in Norfolk married to Jessica (or Jemima). Their children were: James CHESNEY Jr., b. Feb. 28, 1821 John CHESNEY, b. 1825 William CHESNEY, b. 1831 Henry CHESNEY, b. 1833 Robert CHESNEY, b. 1835 All came to Canada between 1836 & 1838. Might there be a link to your family? Also looking for information on this family from Ireland: John J. NOLAN, b. abt. 1851, married to Mary Agnes RYDER, b. abt. 1863 Their children were: Honora (Nora) NOLAN Mary Anne NOLAN, b. June 4, 1871 Thomas H.
