I am trying to find "a missing branch" for my family tree. I am trying to locate Violet Nixon born around 1934 - birthplace unknown. I have a marriage record dated 1951 in North Carolina where she married Posey Oyler. He was 27. The records states that both of them where living in Roanoke, Virginia. Posey died last week and mother seems to be unable to remember any information about Violet. My mother is in her mid 80's and is not computer literate so I am trying to help her clear her memory.
