I am searching for my birth mother. I was born on the 6th February 1947. My mothers name was Elsie Mabel Burgess she was a spinster of around 20years old. I was given the name Joy Angela Burgess and my adopted parents kept this name. I was born in a private nursing home in the West Midlands called Malvern House. I was told that my mother came away to have me as it was very hush hush. If anyone has an aunt,mother or grandmother whoes maiden name was Elsie Mabel Burgess and could be my mother please please get in touch.On my original birth certificate Elsie put herself has living at Wisteria,Salford Road, Bidford On Avon. I dont think that she did ever live there but perhaps had some connection.The adoption was carried out very quickly through my adopted parents doctor and I was always led to believe that she came from an important family. I do not want to cause any problems to anyone as i had the best parents anyone could wish for and i now have a good husband and son but i would just love to know about my birth mother and perhaps i even have some brothers and sisters..
