I wish to obtain a copy of one of my ancestors George Phipps who died in either 1838 or 1839. He lived in Swalcliffe Oxfordshire. Unfortunately there are two George Phipps' in BMD records for the Banbury area - the first being for the 1838 March Quarter and the other for the 1839 March Quarter. Obviously I don't want to order the wrong death certificate so perhaps someone could help me to establish which one of the two was my ancestor. The George Phipps concerned was born in Hook Norton in about 1810 and his parents were George and Hannah. His wife's name was Charlotte (maiden name not known).
