My father's name is Thomas Patrick McDonald and he was adopted at the age of 6 weeks old by Hannah & James Mcdonald. His biological father and mother were Patrick or Martin Gouthro and Annie Day. We can't find any info on our biological grandparents at all. Years ago I got a lot of info from Harold Carr(deceased) from the U.S. no matter how hard we try we can't seem to find out any info. We know that William Gouthro(Reserve Mines)deceased was an uncle but they would not give the family any info.Mancini's in North Sydney were also related. There was also a Dr. Gouthro from North Syney, C.B., N.S., Canada related to my Dad. I would appreciate any information you could give me regarding my family's background. Sincerely, Antoinette McDonald Lannon | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
