Interested in tracing the whereabouts of any Semple families descended from John Semple and Mary Ann Snowden. Their children were Theodore, Adriana and Herbert Semple. The family were present in Liverpool, England, during the 1881 census, resident with John's spinster aunt, Sarah Semple, and two spinster sisters, Sarah Semple and Jane Semple. The elders were born in the West Indies [Barbados?], and the children in New Zealand. Theodore settled in Australia, dying at Freemantle in 1905.
