Looking for information regarding Daniel Butler of Nelson, Madison Co. born ~ 1779 in Nelson (according to info that I have). was married to a Hannah (born ~1784). Know that he had a farm in the area; that at times he would read sermon in his barn if preacher not available. Know that he died after falling on a pitch fork. His wife also died early (abt 1822) leaving three boys: Daniel Jr, Otis and Harvey. Otis and Harvey were given guardians. John Buck and Perling Munger. 1. Unaware if Buck or Munger were related to Butler or his wife Hannah. 2. Any info appreciated on parents of Daniel if known. 3. Also any information regarding this family appreciated.
