Looking for information on my Great Great Grandparents, John Heinrich Magnus Lenz and Katherine Harper b.06 April,1807. Both were born in Roddahn,Germany. They, along with their 3 children: Elizabeth b.19 May 1840, Heinrich b. 20 Feb 1843, and John b. 23 Sept.1852 came to Chicago,Illinois U.S.A. by way of the New York-Erie Canal-Great Lakes waterway from a small village named Rodakee,Germany in 1860. Would like to get in contact with anyone researching the Lenz-Harper German Connection
