Query Text: |
Looking for information on the family of George Talbot Lay and his adopted daughter, Imogene Nell Lay, born 5 Sept 1974 (supposedly in Wisconsin but no birth record available), adopted 15 Apr 1877. Is George the biological father and who is the biological mother? George's second wife was Elizabeth Stone who adopted Imogene, but Elizabethe's death certificate says she did not have any children of her own. Sophia Westvelt is listed as being a 21yo domestic in the Lay household in 1880; could she be the mother? Martha Fritz, also of the Lay household, was adopted by him in 1852. We are doing DNA testing of the Lay family line so anyone with information to share, thank you! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
