78 year old birth mother whose surname was Buehl or Buell and 79 year old birth father whose surname is Cochran. She was 14 & he was 15 years old when I was born on 8/8/44 in Trenton, New Jersey. I went to live w/adoptive parents in 1945 and was formally adopted in Attorney, Knox Felter, Sr.'s Lebanon, N.J. home office in 1949. At 63, I'm 5'2" and healthy - w/tendencies to addictions, leadership & a forgiving, helpful, deeply caring personality. Six months before he died, my adoptive father's eyes darted fearfully around the room to see if Mother lurked in the shadows-before he whispered the info about my birth parents. She had been, at that time, gone 8 years! That's how scared he was of her! She died when I was 21 but even when she was alive, I felt empty and alone.
