I am helping my cousin attempt to locate her fathers birth family. He was born in Chicago Lying-In Hospital either November 6 or November 12, 1922. Birth Mother's name was Mary, 23 yo, father Robert Watts, 35 yo Railroad Machinist. Father left mother when she was 5 months pregnant. She kept baby for a few months before surrendering. The organizations involved.. Chicago Lying-In hospital, Illinois Children Homes aid society, Lawrence Johnson Atty in Knox Ill. He was named Robert Kenneth Watts at birth and was listed as Juvenile No 89248. Also adoption filing in Galesburg Ill finalized December 1923. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
