I was searching for anything on the McLarrys or Statons to prove my search for my heritage on my dad's side. My dad's grandpa was a Rogers who married a Claghorn and had my dad's dad (my grandpa) who married a Staton (my grandma). Her parents were Woody Staton and Mary Bird McLarry. Mary Bird's parents were Charles Desha McLarry and Ella J. Jones. Mary Bird and the McLarrys were said to have been part Blackfoot Native American. The Statons and McLarrys were located in and around Leonard and Trenton, Texas. Rogers are located in Little Rock, AR and other places.
