My mother was born on April 11, 1954 in Bay County, MI at the Salvation Army Hospital for Women. She was adopted straight out of the hospital. Unfortunately the place where all the adoption records were kept burnt down and all records were destroyed so we know very little. From what we were told her biological parents were in love but were not allowed to marry because of difference social status. Her mother was 15-17 and her father 16-18. I honestly dont know how accurate that information is so if you gave a little girl up for adoption out of Bay County in April of 1954 PLEASE contact me.
