I am trying to find iformation about the ancestry of Berry Paul Laws(b.1July1907,Knox Co,Ky; d.4Jun1974,Pineville, Bell Co,Ky) who was married 19Jun1927 to Nannie E. Crisp(b.2Sep1909,Graham Co,NC; d.1Jun1976 Pineville, Bell Co,KY). His parents were Nathan/Nathaniel Laws (b.19Nov1868,Knox Co,KY; d.11Sep1939,Pineville,Bell Co,Ky) and Cordelia/Cordie Black Laws (b.6Oct1867,Knox Co,Ky; d.8Mar1950,Pinville,Bell Co,Ky). I believe Nathans parents were James Laws (b.1846,Knox Co,Ky) and Amanda Bracket (b.1848, Knox Co,Ky). I also believe Amandas parents were John Brackett(b.1802,Va) and Elizabeth Pearcefield(b1818,Knox/Bell Co,Ky). Jessie, age 5 in this census listing is a son, Jesse, not a daughter. Jesse worked as a welder in Pearl Harbor, then in Alaska and finally for the Caterpillar Co. in Peoria, Ill. He is buried in Pineville, Ky with Berry, Nannie, Nathan, and Cordie. Walter m. Delores Knuckles, Mandy m. a Martin, Bertie m. a Todd, and Ollie m. a Owen.
