Female adoptee searching for birth parents, siblings, ect. My non-identifying info---born 9/2/1951 at St. Joseph's hospital in Savannah,Ga. to an unwed mother. She named me "Roberta Jane". My birth mom worked as a waitress/salesclerk, and was 19 years old when I was born. She may have possibly been from the Atlanta area, and came to the Florence Crittenton home in Savannah to await my arrival. My birth father worked as a mechanic. Both were high school grads. My birth mom signed surrender documents on 10/1/1951, and my adoption was finalized on 9/16/1953 in Savannah. Would like to find out as much info as I possibly can, not only for myself, but for my children and grandchildren, so that my side of the family tree doesn't end with me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
