I need someone willing to do research in Washington Co. Ill. John Henry Heck was tried for manslaughter in Washington Co. and sentenced to life in prison. Sent to Joliet prison Sept 17, 1862. Pardoned in 1867. Looking for details. State archives referred me to Washington Co.
