I am searching for my birth mother. I was born February 27, 1990 in Evansville, Indiana. My birth mother was 18 years old and not married. My birth mother named me Karen Nicole. My birth mother is 3/4 African American and 1/4 American Indian. I am the first child of my birth mother. My birth mother put me up for adoption. While the paperwork was being processed, I stayed in a foster home. At some point, my birth mother decided that she wanted to raise me and came and got me but she took me back to the foster home within a day or two because she realized she was not prepared to care for a baby.
