Seeking any information about Isabel Fuertes y Lasvit, she was born in Naguabo Puerto Rico about 1880 to 1890. Her parents were Mauricio Fuertes and Tomasa Lasvit y Jariot,her father was born in Naguabo also, her mother was foreign born and spoke mostly in french. Isabel's parents had six children, Josefa, Higinia, Giorgina, Maria and Felix. Isabel married Juan DeLaPaz y Flores and had two children Juana and Agustin, she died around 1918. Isabel's younger sister Higinia then married the widower Juan to help raise the children and had three sons with him. The sons were Wilfredo,Guillermo and Celestino, they moved the family to Catano and lived there until Higinia died in the 1960s.
