MORRISON ISLE OF LEWIS ANGUS AND MARGARET/Mary Am searching for any information on a Angus Morrison born c1775 who married a Margaret/Mary (both names are used in the naval pension records, in October 1787. Navy Pension was claimed by this lady 1840 to 1853 when she died. Any descendants of this couple I have been unable to find. I do know that Angus had a brother Norman still alive in 1853. Have since found a Norman Morrison married to Margaret in the 1841 census with sons of family names which fit with Angus. The Angus Morrison shown on the census was 8 and his son, another Angus 9 yrs old in 1881, died in the 1914 war age 47. Is anyone researching this family? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
