Looking for decendant/ancestors of Stringer, John & Hannah nee Leeson of Knockanode Townland, Avoca, County Wicklow, Ireland. John died poss abt 1840, their known children were Mary-Ann 1833, Joseph, Richard 1838 & Catherine (my line) 1839. Hannah remarried Richard O'Neill and had Benjamin 1843 & Eleanor 1849. Mary-ann, Richard, Catherine, Benjamin and Eleanor all immigrated to Canterbury in New Zealand between 1855-1865.' Catherine was married in Avoca 1858 to William Dobson, Richard married Ann Dobson (wm sister) in 1863 NZ. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
