Looking for information for any HERBERTs in VT. JOHN C HERBERT b. 1828 Ireland came to NY by himself but by 1855 he was married, in Vt and had a daughter, LUCY A b. 1855. After Lucy was born, he, his wife MARY also from IRELAND move back to NY some where have daughter # 2 MARY J HERBERT in 1856. By 1858 they are in OHIO then on to IOWA.
