Query Text: |
My fathers parents(mother and father; names: akua(fokuo) adutwumwaa and akwasi obeng, originally come from Ejisu Bonwire in ashanti region but migrated to Dwenase near Apinaman in the eastern region. Now all my father and my uncles and aunties are all dead. The last was my father, edward kwasi kyei in 2004 at the age of 104years.His brothers were Kofi Boakye,Kwabena Osei Mensah,Kwasi Obeng, Kwadwo Duah and sisters, Yaa Bemah,Amma Nsonowaa, Asi Botwe,Yaa Manu. Now, over the years, there have been people coming to funerals anytime someone of elders died ,from Bonwire. I remember asking my father to once if he will go with me to visit the other family members in the Ashanti side one day and he was positive. Time and tide waits for no man. I could not follow up and he became very old whilst I HAVE BEEN AWAY to Europe. We the children and grandchildren and our children have different names such as :NIMAKO,KANKAM,ADUTWUM,GYIMAH, BOATENG, OTENG-AGYEI, DUA,YEBOA,ABOAGYE,BAAFI,OBENG,OFOSUAA,KYEI,NIMAKOaND OTHERS. My father used to talk about a town called Toase. They had a stool and they are the kings, chieves and queens at Dwenase and Akanteng. He also talk about Kente cloth at Bonwire, being his ancestors invention and occupation. My question/query is wether it is possible to trace any of the names in Bonwire. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
