Looking for information on my Great grandmother Frances Rosner or Roesner born in Bohemia on May 31, 1863. Came to America with the Johann Giebl family in May of 1885. Went with them to Jericho, WI (Calumet County). Married Albert Hanke in November of 1888 and died in 1949. Her father was Simon Rosner or Roesner. Her mother was Mary Schreivogel or Schreibogel. She died when Frances was 9 or 10. Her father remarried soon after. Frances did not get along with new wife. Frances had a married sister in Bohemia. Albert did the correspondence but there were no more replies after he let them know he was German. The Naturalization papers for Johann's son Anton state that they were from Homkamlinn, Austria but I cannot find any such place. Any info would be greatly appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
