James HEFFERNAN,(HEFFERAN) b.1813 Gowran, Kilkenny.d. 22 Sept 1893,Ipswich Qld. Parents: James Heffernan & Catherine Brennan. Married Ann MORRISSEY @ 1832.d.17 Aug 1900 at Ipswich Qld. Emigrated to Queensland, Australia on ship,"Genghis Khan" in 1854 with 3 children - John 1843, Bridget 1851 & Catherine 1853. Subsequently, Mary Ann 1856, James 1860 & Michael 1861 were born in Australia. John m. Ann KERRIGAN; Bridget m. Arthur MC GRORY; Catherine m. Michael HOGAN; Mary Ann m. Stephen MARSH; James m. Mary COSTELLO; Michael m. Bridget COSTELLO. Stephen and Mary Ann MARSH are my Great Grandparents. Their daughter Catherine Genoveve b: 30.12.1875 d: 07.05.1927 married Gothe Magnus Wilhem (William)POMMER from Sweden 31 August 1838. Their son, Earle William POMMER b.2 March 1911 is my father.
