Michael MEUCHE immigrated in 1883.1 He was born Unknown in Thuringen, Germany.1 He died Unknown in Unknown.1 He was married to Augusta Marie SIMON Unknown in Germany.1 Augusta Marie SIMON immigrated in 1883.1 She was born Unknown in Thuringen, Germany.1 She died Unknown in Unknown.1 Michael MEUCHE and Augusta Marie SIMON had the following children: +2 i. Theresa Augusta MEUCHE (born on July 30, 1865). SECOND GENERATION 2. Theresa Augusta MEUCHE1 was born on July 30, 1865 in Reichstadt (Sachen?), Thuringen, Germany.1 She immigrated in 1883.1 She died on January 4, 1951 in Loyal, Wisconsin, USA.1 THERESA AUGUSTA (MEUCHE) OESTREICH - Died January 4, 1951 her death certificate is in volume 24 page 40 it states that her son Frank Oestreich was the informant and that she was buried at Loyal, WI She was buried in Loyal, Wisconsin, USA.2 Theresa Augusta Meuche was born July 30, 1865 in Sachen, Thuringen, Germany. She came to the U.S. at age 18 (1883) and lived in Neillsville, Wisconsin until her marriage to Adolph Oestreich on August 14, 1884. They lived on a farm west of Spencer until 1917. They moved to the first house on the corner of the fifth block on H98 west of the Methodist Church. Her parents were Michael Meuche and Augusta Marie Simon. She was married to Adolph Karl Johann OESTREICH (son of Karl Friedrich OESTREICH and Christiana Dorothea MOLL) on August 14, 1884 in Granton Lutheran Church, Sherman, Wisconsin (Rev. Fisher), USA.1 Adolph Karl Johann OESTREICH3,2 was born on December 27, 1851 in Schoenhof Province, Muehlen-Eichsen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.1,3 Schoenhof is part of the parish of Muehlen-Eichsen. Muehlen-Eichsen is a village in the northwest part of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, between Gadebusch and Wismar. He was baptized on December 28, 1851 in Schoenhof Province, Muehlen-Eichsen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.3 His godfathers were Adolf Niemdorf, son of a herdsman; Karl Oestreich, son of a farm hand, and Johann Oestreich, son of a farm hand. He came to the U.S. with his brother, Gottlieb, at the time of the Franco-Prussian War at the age of 19. He settled at Plymouth, Wisconsin where his brother stayed. He came to Clark County in 1883, bought a farm in the town of Sherman, cleared the land, and built a home. This farm is located in the north west corner of the town of Sherman, Section 5. He married Theresa Augusta Meuche at the Granton Lutheran Church on August 14, 1884 by Rev. Fisher. Theresa Augusta MEUCHE and Adolph Karl Johann OESTREICH had the following children: +3 i.
