I am looking for a sister who was born in Oklahoma City in 1944 and was taken by foster parents. My mother was a african american woman named Lorraine Harper. Her married name was Lorraine Carriger. She was from St. Paul Minnesota. She would have been 17 or 18 years old when she gave birth to this baby girl. This sister had a different father than I. Her father's last name was Cunningham. She has three sisters by her father. Her mother had two children besides her. One son, myself, and one dauhter. My mother passed in 1991. I live in Minneapolis,Mn, and my sister lives in Bloomington, Mn. I am 65 years old and my sister is 62. My name is Leland Eugene Carriger and my sisters' name is Alona Mae Carriger. My grandmothers' maiden name may have been used at the time of my unknown sisters' birth. That name was Burkhalter. My grandmother was from Ufala Oklahoma. Her full name was Willie Mae Burkhalter. After her marraige to my grandfather she became Mae Harper. My mothers' fathers' name was Sherman Harper Sr. The sister that I am looking for whould be about 63 or 64 years old. She may still be in the Oklahoma area.
