Sir / Madam, I seek further information on my ancestors who lived in Kells Co Meath in 1858. My great grandfather married a Catherine Kiernan in Kells on February 9th 1858 and their first born child Peter arrived in November of that year. He was followed by at least three other siblings, John, Owen and Patrick {my grandfather}in 1865 There may have been more siblings, but so far I have only managed to trace [4] My grandfather married a Catherine Darcy and there were two sons born of this marriage. Thomas and Martin {my father} Martin was born on February 14th 1897. In the 1901 census of Kells I could find no trace of a Kearns family and I now wonder if perhaps they all moved to Dublinprior to that date. Any and all information would be much appreciated, I would also be very interested in corresponding with anybody from either the Kearns or Kiernan side of this union that might also be seeking his/her roots or building a family tree. Yours truly George P Kearns | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
