Search information on an ancestor George Collins -who apparently was born in 1803 in Lasngtoft, Lincoln, England (parents Thomas & Sarah). By 1828 he was living at Edenham (Linc) it was here he was convicted and sentenced 7yrs to Australia via the ship Mellish in 1829. Just wondering if anyone would have information, or maybe links with the Collins family from these areas. Nothing more is known about George and his family in Lincolnshire. He died in Australia in 1865. Any help to where to start tracing his parentage etc - in Lincolnshire wwould be apprecaited. Thank you Jack - Australia
