I am looking for my great grandfather's information. John Butcher Sr. was killed at the age of 25 in an indian raid on his farm in Virginia in 1743. His son John Butcher (II) was only 6 months old. His wife, after his death married a man by the name of Hughes, and moved away. John the child kept the Butcher name. Anyone have any other info. on him? He was born in England in approx. 1718, but that's all I know. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
