Query Text: |
Peter Mcardle - came over to the USA in 1913 on the Mauretania - went to live in White ash Illinois with Thoms Dunn and family. Peter is the son of Peter Mcardle and Mary Ellen Donnelly from Stanley in Durham UK. He appears on the 1930 Illinois census as being a guard at the National Soldiers Home in Illinois,he was then 42 years old. Im almost sure he never married but had a housekeeper. I keep coming up against a brick wall. I cannot find any SSD index but he was still alive in 1937. If anyone has any information whatsoever I would very much appreciate it. I was told he is buried in a cemetery at Danville. This is all the information I have - thanks for your help Kate | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
