My name is Emily Graves. I am looking for information on the family of Claude L Lively. He was married twice. First to Lillian Blackwell and after her death to Velma Hartzog. Claude had a total of 12 children. My grandfather, Claude's son, tells me that his middle initial "L" stood for nothing. Claude died in Hazelhurst, MS but I'm not sure when. I believe Claude's father was called Jesse (Jessie). Claude had two brothers, Samuel and Jessie and one sister Kate Lively Hodges. Claude moved from TX to LA. From stories, Claude's father lived in a criminal colony in TX and Claude moved to LA to get away from it.
