I am looking for cousins from the AUSTIN, Texas and DALLAS, Texas area named Manor's, Shields, and Linthicum’s, Black’s. The Linthicum's were my great aunts and great uncle. Their mother was Sarah Ann Roberts-Alexander They were: Otto Linthicum who died in Dallas, Texas 1945. I would like to know if he had children. Otto had one arm base on his WWI record. Louise Linthicum-Emory married Cory Bates Emory and their son was Dr. Emerson Emory of Dallas, Texas. Anna Linthicum, Amanda Lucille Linthicum married Grayhalva Bush and lived in Carrollton, Texas. She died 1953 in Carrollton, Texas; Lewis Black married Dora Garrett from Nacogdoches, Texas. The Blacks had two children. One was Allene Black and Sawyer Black. If you know anything about families listed, please contact me below. Also, the entire family did live in Nacogdoches, Texas and moved to Dallas, Texas around 1910? Sam Manor, Ella Shields, Jesse Manor, Gussie May McGee, Ernestine Gillis, Fred Wagoner, Isabel Manor, George Manor, Tom Shields, Sarah Lowe My grandmother was Rosa Lee Manor who married Milton Alexander (1980) from Dallas, Texas 1924 and her brother Jesse Manor who married Gussie Mae McGee. Their mother was Ella Shields and father Sam Manor. Ella Shields married Dan Jones from Austin, Texas 1914. They had a child named Lewis Jones born in Dallas, Texas. At this time, I am having a difficult time with the whereabouts of Sam Manor on the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census. I haven't located Ella Shield or Sam Manor’s marriage certificate. Rosa Lee Manor (Alexander) did live in Fort Worth Area and died there too 1988. She remarried in Dallas, Texas to Bert Gillis (1973). They had one child Ernestine Gillis who married Fred Wagoner 1955 Fort Worth, Texas. Also, the Shields family may have come from Fayette, Texas and Austin, Texas. Not sure.
