Looking for information about the biological family of Mollie/Mary/Marie PLOVNOSKI, b. 1889 in or around Bridgeport, CT, d. 1982 in Norwalk, CT, married Howard HUNTER, Sr. in 1910 in Brooklyn, NY. Her parents were James PLOVNOSKI and Elizabeth ???, who may have emigrated from Russia or Poland. Mollie was placed in a children's institution/orphanage in Norwalk, CT (at the corner of the Post Road and Dry Hill Road), and she became the foster daughter of the Eli Sturgis BENNETT family of Brooklyn and Connecticut when she was about nine years old. Mollie remembered someone in a Priest's collar coming to her door after she was married, claiming to be a relative. We are looking for her family for genealogical purposes.
