I am not sure why you include the name "Frood" in your search. My late husband's family name was Frood but I understood the family came from either Yorkshire of Derbyshire, not Ireland. The name is very well known in England as Henry Frood developed auto accessories in the late 19th Century and branded them "Ferodo"
