I am looking for information on a Kathleen Flan(n)igan who may have been married to a Sir John French and their children Mary French & her siblings Nellie, Tom & perhaps a Jane? They were all born in Ireland. The Sir JOhn French was a landowner. The Kathleen Flanigan (Flannigan?) a maid of some sort. Rumour has it a dairy maid. They married (I think ) & had children, but the young Sir John died when he was fairly young & Kathleen took her children to England to get away from his parents who were trying to adopt her children & kick her out of the house. After all she was a servant. Her daughter Mary married my Great grandfather on my maternal grandmother's side. Her maiden name was Woffenden.
