In about 1973 I bought a Robert Thompson cello fron a Mr Grinrod living in Oldham UK. He was in his nineties at the time. Was a cellist in Halle orchestra under Hamilton Harty. A pupil of Karl Fuchs I am trying to trace history of the cello. Would like to know more about cellist Grinrod.
