I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for some of the Bauer family. I am a police officer in the Cleveland area and we are having a police memorial parade and service next month. Our first village Marshall was Edward Reiber appointed as Marshal in 1915. We'd like to make contact with some of his descendants and have them present. They may not have even heard of him or new hew was a cop. So far, the only direct descendants of his is Jean E. Helman (b. about 1921) who married Frank Bauer. I can only guess that they were born somewhere in Ohio, maybe Cleveland, Cuyahoga County. I don't know if Jean or Frank Bauer are still alive or not. They had at least two children named John and I think Mary Elizabeth. I guess they would have been born about the 1940's or 1950s. Do these sound familiar? Thank you | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
