Looking for Corrections, Updates, and verification of data Elizabeth French was born about 1725 in Stratford, Fairfield County Connecticut. She was christened on the 31st of July 1726 at the Christ Episcopal Church in Stratford Connecticut. She married Israel Beardsley, in 1745. Elizabeth is of eight children born to Samuel French and Mary Price. Her siblings were; Nehemiah, Samuel, Sarah, Joshua, Joseph, Elijah and Andrew. Elizabeth died in Manchester, Bennington County Vermont in 1773. Samuel French “The Joiner” was born on the 15th of May 1687 in Bradford Abbas, Dorset County England. He was baptized on the 7th of June 1687. He married twice, first to Mary Price in 1710 in England, then to Elizabeth Loring, on the 2nd of June 1736. He is one of eleven children born to Samuel French and Susannah Pitman. His sibling was Jeremiah, Mary, Susanna, John, Jonathan, Anne, Elizabeth, Thomas, Hannah and Joseph. Samuel immigrated around the 4th of June 1715 to Boston. Samuel died on the 3rd of September 1763 in Huntington, Fairfield County Connecticut. His will was probated on the 26th of September 1763 in Stratford, Fairfield County Connecticut. He is buried in the Old Cemetery East of Huntington Center in Fairfield County Connecticut. Samuel French was born on the 7th of October 1655 in South Perrott, Dorset County England. He married Susannah Pitman in 1680 in Bradford Abbas, Dorset County England. He is of eight children born to The Reverend Jeremiah French and Elizabeth Horsey. His siblings were: Philip, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Jeremiah, and Hannah. Samuel French died on the 13th of October 1718. Reverend Jeremiah French was born on the 2nd of January 1623 (1624) in Saxmundham, Suffolk County England. Jeremiah and Elizabeth Horsey were married about 1647 in Bradford Abbase, Dorset England. He is one of eight children born to Thomas French and Marjery Knight. His siblings were: Samuel, Phillip, Hannah, Sarah, Abigail, Samuel, Nathaniel. He was a Minister in Bradford Abbas, Dorset County England. He died on the 17th of May 1685 in Bradford Abbas, Dorset County England.
