Looking for verification of data, correction and or updates if possible. Abigail Phoebe Elizabeth Dayton was born in 1634. She married Joseph Beardsley in 1665 in Stratford, Connecticut. Who her parents and or siblings were is not yet known. I have found records indicating that she lived for a while in Brookhaven Long Island. The Dayton’s from Long Island start with Ralph (Deighton) Dayton who was born in Ashford, Kent, England in 1588. He was married to Alice Goldhatch Tritton. Whether or not this is the beginning of the Dayton line in America is not known at this time. Further research will need to be accomplished.
