I am looking for information on the BOBROSKE FAMILY. Bobroske is also spelled as BOBROWSKI. We believe Bobrowski is a Polanized spelling of a German name? We believe the Bobrowski's lived in Poland before moving to Kamenka, Volhynia (Volhynia is now in the Ukraine)then comming to Canada. Some of this family was deported to Siberia during WWII. The following is information on the family line I am looking for: Friedrich Bobroske born in 1856 in Germany married Amalia Kaatz. One of Friedrich and Amalia Bobroske's sons is August Bobroske who was born in Kamenka, Volhynia in 18 Feb 1883. August died 24 Dec 1954 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada and is buried in Marwayne, Alberta. August married Emilie Froehlich (the daughter of Friedrich Froehlich and Ernestine Lutz) 26 March 1911 in Beausejour, Manitoba, Canada through an arranged marriage. August was supposed to marry Emilie's older sister, Julianna but Julianna refused. Therefore August then married Emilie. Emilie Froehlich was born in 5 May 1894 in Lithuania and died 3 Dec 1979 in Marwayne, Alberta. I REALLY NEED HELP! I cannot find much out about the Bobroske/Bobrowski family line. If any of these names sound familiar PLEASE contact me. Thank-you. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
