I am looking for anyone knowledgeable of a baby girl being put up for adoption from Creche St. Vincent in Lebanon, in June of 1959...Someone that is knowledgeable of my biological mother, father aunts uncles mid wives and children born after me in 1959. I was placed in this orphanage until I was 19 months old by the midwife. I was adopted at 19 months, through Chicago Illinois Catholic Charities with the help of Father Bodie Essa and since then have spoken with Sister Bassoul of Creche St. Vincents,in the past. My birth papers stated that my name was FARIDE and that my biological mother's name was Theresa and my biological father's name was Gabriel. It also stated that I was baptized on July 4th 1959. I do not know this to be true or falso though... Whether or not my biological parents were married or not or are living or not is of no concern to me. I wish to see my family's medical records if possibe, as I am a phyically ill person and wonder if this is something biological. I also wish to meet my siblings whether half or whole as I am not here to make trouble but only to have a family of my blood. I wish no trouble or sadness to either two of my biological parents and only regret that they missed my growing up and now the growing up of their grandchildren too.
