 I am looking for the parentage of Robert Laing born c 1796 in Roxburgh, SCT who married first Agnes Ovens in 1821 then secondly Jean Douglas in 1846. I am a desendant of Robert and Agnes' son Andrew Laing who married Jane Ellison. All emigrated to Canada and have descendants in Ontario, Michigan, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and other states in the US.
