Seeking information on John Taylor (1790-1862) son of James Taylor and Beatrice Scargill of Wexford. John Changed his name to Jeremiah in 1824, rose to the ran of Lieutenant General in British Army. Particular interest in ancestors and possible relationship to Bishop Jeremy Taylor, possibly descended fron Nathaniel, Jeremys brother. Jereiah married Sophia Barton.
