BENTLY(BENTLEY) Seeking information on my gggrandmother's family. Her name was Sarah Bently, probably born around 1812 in Virginia. She married Henry Weddle on 4/23/1826 in Wheeling, WV, Ohio County. They lived in Triadelphia, WV. and had the following children, Margaret, William Bently (who later married Sarah Caldwell), Elizabeth, Jacob, Henry, John N., Sarah,and Mary Alice. Her son Jacob was my ggrandfather and was a col. for the 1st WV infantry. He married Jennie Lancaster and they later lived in Ironton, Ohio. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
