Hello, Searching for descendants of a man that would have been the brother to my great grandmother. Her name was Amalia Iisakintytär TÄYSIÄ - KUOPPASALMI and her married last name was KIVISTÖ later KIVINEN. Her brother was originally named NIKODEMUS YLIRÖNNI, and when he entered the USA in 1902 at Ellis Island, the ship manifest has him as NICODEMUS RÖNN. So I am assuming that he went by the name Nicodemus Ronn. He was supposed to have gone to Worcester, Mass. to stay with his cousin, Antti Kivinen. Does anyone have any recollection of this name? When I've done some internet searches, I see that there were some Ronn's that lived in the Worcester area; ANDERS RONN, WAINO RONN, AND HELMI RONN. These are obviously Finnish first names.
