I am interested in the Farrand family of Nottinghamshire, England. I have John Farrand born about 1808 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He married Rebecca Dawson in 1828 in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. She was born in 1810 in Rochdale, Lancashire, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Dawson. John and Rebecca lived in Sutton in Ashfield. John worked as a framework knitter. Children - James 1831, Henry 1831 to 1834, Ellen 1835, Eliza 1850. Ellen married Charles Taylor in 1855. They lived in Sutton in Ashfield. Their children were Elizabeth 1856 and Mary Jane 1860. Ellen died in 1860.
