Hi, I’m looking into my grandfather's genealogy. His name was VICTOR FREDERICK KARL SCROGER. As I’ve been told, my grandfather's father (or his grandfather) changed his family name from KRUEGER (or KRUGER) to SCROGER when they came to America in the 1880's from Germany (don't know what town) I’ve researched back to my great-great grandfather. But all I found is they're names and where they are buried. My great-great grandfather's name was H. FRED SCROGER (or KRUEGER) he was born in 1839. The other SCROGER'S that I know of are ELLA A. (1884-1898), FRED (1882- 1942), H. FRED (1839-1930), RAYMOND (died 2/11/1972), VICTOR (10/12/1905 - 1/12/1996). They are all buried in Oakfield cemetery, Oakfield, NY.
